<http://www.tngenweb.org/dickson/webbbs/queries/index.cgi?rev=512>
AUTHOR: Dan McCarthy
DATE: Monday, 26 July 2004, at 3:43 p.m.
April 21 - 24, 2005 is the 8th annual national gathering for the Self - Selph
Family in America in Chattanooga, TN. Sponsored again by the Self Family
Newsletter research group. We're expecting over 100 Self researchers from all
across America for this gathering. Anyone who cares in the Self family is
welcomed. Saturday, April 23, the main event day, has a full schedule planned
beginning at 10 am at the Old Stone Church in Ringgold, GA, followed by a
catered noon meal at the motel with everyone visiting and sharing info. So
please, bring your family information and questions. Friday events have been
planned too for the early birds who gather early each reunion. Overall, we
plan to have three speakers, three tours, photo sessions, awards, the giving
of the Self family scholarship, door prizes, seminars, etc. Sunday is usually
a shared breakfast and goodbyes to meet again the following year. Coming in
from out of town? The motel of choice for out of town family members is the
Comfort Inn on Ringgold Road, #1-800-228-5151, for special rate reservations
under Becky Huckaby for the Self Reunion. Make your reservations early because
only 35 rooms have been reserved for this reunion. Contact Dan at
or see the Self family website at www.self-family.com and
click link to the 2005 Chattanooga page.
