I am looking for information on the murder of Dr. Edward Watson Ridings that
took place on Main Street, Dickson on 8 Jul 1905. I have several newspaper
articles and the court minutes, but I am looking for personal information on
John E. Fowler, who died before Dec 1905 (place of death, cause of death,
wife's name, etc.) or just stories heard about the murder. Dr. Ridings was
shot seven times and the dispute was over John E. Fowler's wife. ANY
information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
