Hi Folks,
Many of you have ancestors who migrated to TX. This is a neat site to read about some of the "historical" sites---and gain a little history insight to the settling of TX. You might find one of your ancestors mentioned here.

The Texas Historical Commission (THC) library houses a unique collection that makes it a one-of-a-kind facility for agency staff, outside professionals and citizens interested in history, archeology and preservation. The library is open to the public during regular business hours, although the collection is noncirculating.
