Faye,
I would love to find out more from your neighbor, as he would be a cousin to
my husband's mother. Rufus Pierce, oldest son of Sam and Lizzie Pierce,
moved to Arkansas after he married in 1911. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law
passed away in 1999 but she has several sisters, who are still living. I am
trying to gather information on the Pierce family so that I can put together
a book for all of the family.
Do you think he would be interested in contacting me? I would correspond by
letter or phone if he would like to.
