Thanks for info. Whites Creek is interesting because there is a John Wilson
of Dickson Co who sold property on Whites Creek to a Hooper. Someone whose
last name is Duff (or Duffield) sold land on Whites Creek on same date (or
close to there) to the same Hooper. This was early 1800 - maybe 1804-8. My
papers are packed up for a trip today, so can't easily get to the papers.
Could this be the same White's Creek? I had thought it was one just north of
Nashville and had decided it didn't fit my John Wilson.
Don't know Elzie, but that seems awful close to Eliz., do you suppose it was
an Elizabeth Wilson?
There is a Thomas Wilson relative, but there are tons of those just like John
Wilsons, so we'll see as time goes on.
