Just found out Smith County was governing body of everthing West of it to the Duck River.From 1783 tell formation of Grand County Robertson & Montgomery.
So if looking for infornation prior to 1790.You might look there.So many splits in Counties until 1870 it makes your head spin on waht County was actual where in a 10 year period.
