Services for MRS. SUSIE CHRISTELL LANE, 69, were 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2,
2000, in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Medley
officiating. Burial followed in Few's Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Lane died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, in Centennial Medical Center in
Nashville. A native of Humphreys County, she was the daughter of the late
Alfred Frank Watkins and Nettie Mai Ladd.
Services for MRS. LILLIE PEARL MCGINNIS, 74, were 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4,
2000, in the Fairview Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Elder Sue
Hutchinson officiating. Burial followed in Hudgins Cemetery.
Mrs. McGinnis died Sunday Dec. 3, 2000, in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.
A native of Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late Williamson L.
Stinson and Hautie Mae Sullivan.
Services for MRS. HENRIETTA MCNEAL SOWELL, 67, of Waynesboro, Ga., were 7
p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2000, in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor
John Whitmore officiating. Burial is in the Wrigley Community Cemetery 10
a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000.
Mrs. Sowell died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, in Centennial Medical Center. A
native of Augusta, Ga., she was the daughter of Gladys Irene Lathon McNeal
Sowell, of Lyles, and the late Henry McNeal. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Charles Douglas Sowell.
Services for MR. WILLIAM JAMES STINSON, 53, were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4,
2000, at the graveside in Jeannette Cemetery. Burial followed the service.
Mr. Stinson died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, at Horizon Medical Center. A native
of Cheatham County, he was the son of the late Dallas Stinson and Vera Mae
Kiger Brim.
Services for MRS. LUCILLE B. WHITFIELD, 84, were 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000,
in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Orgeron officiating.
Burial followed in Jack Lampley Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitfield died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, in Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
A native of Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest
Buttrey and Tennie Deal.
