Becca-

I asked Dad last night if he remember Fletcher Hall. He did.

Dad said Fletcher was the game warden for Dickson County and the surrounding area for years. Said he drove a T Model Ford. Said he had a farm on the old WhiteBluff to Ashland City Road right at the Petway Bridge just as you get to Oakleytown. Said he remembered a time when Fletcher had a huge bull there on his place. The bull got him cornered and nearly killed him.
When he died, Eugene Hutton (Dad's cousin) bought his farm. He was White Bluff's iceman. He also drove the first (or second, Dad wasn't sure) school bus in White Bluff. It was an old truck with a homemade bed attached with seats.
Dad didn't know who his parents were. He said that you might check with Maurice Stuart who runs the barber shop in White Bluff. Maurince knows all the gossip and about as much about White bluff families as any body could. I think he's related to about everybody.
Don't know that Dad's memory is always perfect (he's 88 years old), but it's always interesting. When I asked him about Fletcher Hall, it stirred him up and he told tales for two hours. Why didn't I have a tape recorder?!?!?!
Hope this at least gives you some where else to look.
