Lenora,
Don't let go of the rope, I can see you are at the end of it, tie a
knot and hang on!!!!!!! Under that rock hard teenage demeanor I am sure is a
person who treasures you but can't let you know just now.Peer pressure and
hormones are probably reeking havoc! One day on down the road that little
girl will look back and cherish all you have done for her and wish with all
her heart she could be back under your wing again! My brother now laughs
about when he would walk down different isle in the store than my mother and
I were on and would pretend he didn't know us until we got back to the car
(he worried what girls would think about him shopping with his mother and
sister!).My mother was more worried about being in the store with the rest
of us, after my sister once seated herself on the bottom of the grocery
basket for a ride while mom was pushing the buggy. At the frozen food bin
she made a convincing "breaking wind" sound and the man across the bin
looked astonished as he looked at mother. My sister was tucked out of his
site under the buggy, but believe me she wasn't out of mom's sight when we
left that store!!!!! I don't know about you but memories like that inspire
me to "hang -on" when my own kids just about send me around the bin at
times. You are not alone out there, reach out and take our "cyber-hands" and
you'll feel much better!!!!
Talk to you later!
Caroline
