I'm new here and not too sure how to reply to the digest (digested???) version of the list. Talking about migrants to Texas, several Charltons left for Texas around 1900. Oscar Charlton, Jr. married Elater Howell in White Bluff and when she died, he married again and took off for Texas where he died in 1945. He had several children there. The one, James, who was born in White Bluff, went on to California and died there in 1976. So that's one more Dickson County family who left there for Texas!
