All I can ascertain from my court records is that it was necessary to
obtain monthly funds for these kinds of children or deaths of early parents
etc...that left these poor children homless and parentless.........it
seems that the adoptive parent or guardian promised to raise the child in a
trade or ??? If the adult was a farmer he would have probably promised to
raise the child as a farmer etc.....at least that is what appears on the
records.. maybe I am wrong ..but it seems that that is the only thing they
could think of in order to set aside funds through the courts Also
gives a clue as to the adult adopting them...
