Hi,
I am new to this list and new to research in Dickson Co.
I am looking for any information about STUART (any variation) families who
resided in Dickson County from 1800-1830.

My ancestor is:
Jehu STUART b. 1770-1780 -- d. 1840 in Perry Co.,AL
md. Rosanna (nee?)
Jehu & Rosanna's 4 eldest children were born in TN and the two youngest were
born after 1818 when they moved south to Perry Co.,AL.
Their known children:
Susan -- md. Joseph Lane Hunter, son of David & Ghasky (McLeroy) Hunter
Emily -- md. (1) ? Leverett md. (2) John E.W. Carnell in Perry Co.,AL
Andrew Jackson -- md. (1) Nancy Johnson (2) Mary Johnson
Rachel -- md. William Bennett in Perry Co.,AL
Manuel L. Stuart -- born in AL
Thomas B. Stuart -- born in AL

We've just discovered that Jehu sold land in Dickson Co., TN in 1818 just
before he moved to AL and in the deed he is named as Jehu Stuart of Perry
Co.,AL.
I'd like to try to find any other connections to this family.
