We grew up poor. Always had food but not the best diet for growing children.
I had Rickets. No one has heard of those in a long while, if ever, I'll
bet. It's from not getting enough milk, cheese and dark green veggies. Your
little bones start to grow crooked. So I had to take tons of yukky ol cod
liver oil and sit out for an hour or so in the sunshine to get vitamin D.
Give me good tasting, ugh, castor oil every once in a while instead of COD
LIVER OIL EVERYDAY!
