Ummmm...your Seals family interested me because I find a John Seals in
Stewart Co. (no connection to me, but I tend to note surnames of that
county particularly if they are a bit "out of pocket" to me)...if you are
interested, here is what I found:
John Seal was a juror in 1805 in Stewart Co. In April of 1803 there is a
deed between Duncan Stewart of Montgomery Co. (incidentally who Stewart Co.
is named for) and John Seals of Robertson Co. wherein Seal bought 1000 acres
of land situated in Robertson Co. on Wells Creek and witnessed by William
Cottingham and Charles Stewart.
