I am looking for information regarding John W Turner, 1855-1926, married
Amanda Davidson, 1868-1931. I have some recently acquired old letters
that mention that he was Mayor of Dickson at one time, but little else.
He was my great-grandmother's youngest sibling. I have been able to find
little information about their family, and nothing at all prior to their
generation.

His siblings were:

Charlie M Turner (one letter says he was a Captain in the Mexican (?)
War), buried in Dickson Union Cemetary
Sue Turner, married David N Knight
Margaret Turner b 3/26/1839, never married, died 3/3/1918 in Dickson, TN
Mary Turner b 3/26/1839 (Margaret's twin), married Abb(sp?) Page, d.
1897
Mattie Ella Turner (my g-grandmother), 1/16/1851, married Gustavus A
Dunn in Kingston Springs, Cheatham County
