When you mentioned the family bible, I went and looked in the Dickson County
Bible Book. No Abner listing at all, however, W. B. Bone was listed as being
born in 1845. W. B. is William Bishop whom is Abner's younger brother. This
kinda solves the mystery for me. I am glad you thought about the family
bible.
