Hi All:

Terry here again. This time, on to connections to Foster. Except
for the Bone and Slayden connections, this is all from on-line
sources. I don't have a lot, but I do have this:

They had 10 children:

Dilly Ann Foster, b. about 1850, TN; d. ? Dickson County TN
m. January 15, 1867, Dickson Co., TN, to Abner Hardin Bone
(son of William Elijah Bone and Ghasky Wallace)
Abner b. February 26, 1839, probably in Dickson Co., TN;
d. 1917 Dickson County, TN
They had six children.
Abner also married
Gasky F. Bledsoe (daughter of Pinkney T. Bledsoe and
Nancy)
Eliza J. Simms (misidentified by Dr. Bone as Mrs.
Elizabeth Simmons)
Willis Anthony Foster, m. Louisa Everette Slayden b. July 1855
William A. Foster

I have a lot of information on Abner's ancestors. Cora knows more
about this family than I do. I have some information about Louisa's
ancestors, but not much about her.

There are other Fosters in the Bone family.

John Coleman Bone, b. 1817 Rutherford Co., TN; d. 1901 Chicago
m. Catherine S. Foster, b. 1823 NJ
He married three more times in IL

Noah William Bone, b. 1869 IL; d. 1951 OR
m. Clara M. Foster, 1925 OR
(Noah was son of William Foster Bone and Parrinda P. Osburne, of IL,
but William Foster Bone was son of Elihu Bone,
who travelled through TN, Wilson Co., at the same time
as other Bones headed for Dickson Co.)
Noah was married previously to Lottie Gould of IL

Susannah Lansden (daughter of Susannah Bone and Robert Lansden)
b. 1812 Wilson Co., TN; d. 1871 Warrensburg MO
m. 1833 Wilson Co., TN to William P. Foster
William was born 1818, TN; d. 1878 Johnson Co., MO
They had nine children.

I also have lots on the Lansden family.

In Illinois, I have a Thomas Foster m. 1902 to Margaret L. Smith,
related through John Calhoun Bone of Wilson Co., TN
>From the family of James Washington Burk of Franklin Co., TN,
there is James Foster who married Jemima Burk (in TX).

On the Slayden side of things, from Clinton Slayden's book, I also
have:

James T. Slayden (son of Tolbert Wilson Slayden and Ethel Hunter)
b. 1860 probably in Dickson County
m. Wilmuth Foster (no other info)
I have info on the family of Tolbert Wilson Slayden, nothing really
on Ethel.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll try another surname next time.
