My brother-in-law called tonight with a question and he wanted me to ask if
anyone knows about the OLD NORTH PART OF WOODLAND CEMETERY. He was there today
and didn't know what the cemetery was called but the guy who lives near by
told him it was the OLD WOODLAND CEMETERY. It is all grown over with brushes
and trees bigger than a house. Does anyone know why it is not being taken care
of like the newer part of WOODLAND? He saw headstone from the Civil War as
well as the Spanish Amer War in there today. All the graves are sunken in up
to ones knees. Who is in charge of WOODLAND CEMETERY? This needs to be
address ASAP. I am going down there Thursday and plan on taking pictures. Maybe the
newspaper would be interested in this for the Nov 11 issue.
