STEPHENS, REBA - age 79 of Clinton,
COLLINS, SUSAN - age 86 of LaFollette, passed away Monday evening in
Fairborne, Ohio. She was a member of Jacksboro Church of Christ. Preceded in death by:
husband, Ershell Collins, Sr.; son, Ershell Collins, Jr.; brothers, Silas
Hicks, Paul Hicks and Edwin Hicks, Jr.; sister; Ginger Bunch. Survivors:
grandchildren, Kim & Ralph Gilby, Stafford, Va., Scott & Reene Collins, Caryville;
great- grandchildren, Alexandra, Stephen & Emily Gilby, Jason, Derek & Kathryn
Collins; brother, Carl Hicks, Jacksboro; sisters, Jennie McGhee, New Carlisle,
Oh, Judith Ann Swanton. Services 8 pm Friday Cross Chapel. Interment 11 am
Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 until 8 pm Friday
Cross Funeral Home.
ECKERMAN, PATRICIA ANN - 63 of Oak Ridge, Tenn. passed away Oct. 25, 2005.
Pat was born November 12, 1941 to Agnes and Frank Ramaker of Cuba City, Wis. She
graduated in 1963 with a degree in nursing from St. Mary's College in
Madison, Wis. Pat practiced as a registered nurse in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa.
In 1968 she married Keith Eckerman. Together they lived in Illinois and
Maryland before settling in Oak Ridge in 1979. The Eckermans were members of St.
Mary's Catholic Church. A variety of local organizations benefited from Pat's
skills during the past twenty years, including the local schools, the American Red
Cross, and the Oak Ridge Meals on Wheels program. Pat was also a talented
seamstress, and made costumes for several productions at the Oak Ridge Playhouse.
Her participation in league bowling at the Oak Ridge Bowling Center was a
source of many friendships, as were her neighbors on Berwick Drive. She was
preceded in death by: her father, Frank Ramaker and survived by: her mother, Agnes
Ramaker of Cuba City, Wis.; husband, Keith; son, Micheal Eckerman of Oak
Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Beth Eckerman and Quentin Craig of Oak Ridge;
cherished grandchildren, Hannah and Alison Craig; her brother, Merlin Ramaker of
Cuba City, Wis.; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Joan Ramaker also of Cuba
City, Wis., sister and brother-in-law, Eileen and Dennis Fisher of Milwaukee,
Wis., sister and brother-in-law Jean and Tim Dodds of South Bend, Ind., and
sister and brother-in-law Donna and Dave Wildes of Des Moines, Iowa. A wake will
be held for family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 at
Weatherford Mortuary. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Oct. 28, 2005 at St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Oak Ridge, followed by a private burial. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Red Cross, Appalachian
Chapter, 908 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. An online guest book may be

GRAVES, GERALD DEWAYNE (CRANE MAN) - age 57, born October 20, 1948 died at
home on October 26, 2005 from a long battle with COPD. He was retired from
Powell Erection and Erection Services and a Vietnam Veteran with the 101st Airborne
in the United States Army. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He is
preceded in death by: infant daughter, Laura Michelle; brother, Clint Graves;
father, Vinson Graves; and son-in-law, Richard Brummett. Survived by: his
loving wife of 37 years, Linda; daughters, Annette Brummett of Clinton, Teresa
Brummett and husband Johnny of Clinton; grandchildren, Richard "Cody", KateLyn
and John Dawson Brummett; mother, Evelyn Graves; sister, Carol Graves;
brothers, Gary Graves and wife Gloria, Donell Graves and wife Darlene; in-laws,
Charles and Virginia Smith all of Heiskell; brother-in-law, Stephen Smith and wife
Kathy of Alabama; special friend and cousin, Kenny Long of Heiskell; and
several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8 pm in the
Halls Chapel of Mynatt Funeral Home with Reverend Scott Jones officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday at Zion Hill Baptist Church
Cemetery for graveside military honors at 11 am with East TN Veterans Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the Halls Chapel of
Mynatt Funeral Home, 922-9195.
STEPHENS, REBA - age 79 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2005
at Methodist Medical Center. Her hobbies were gardening, flowering, quilting,
and reading. Reba is preceded in death by: her parents, Jesse James & Mossie
Elizabeth Grubb Heck; brothers, Jesse James Heck Jr. and Roy Amos Heck; sister,
Cozzeta Heck. Survivors: husband, Rubin Stephens of Clinton; daughter, Joyce
Petrowski & special friend Jim Hughes of Powell; son, Anthony Keith Stephens of
Clinton; grandchildren, Mark Todd Petrowski of Brentwood, Terry Lynn
Petrowski & special friend Pat Davis of Powell; sisters, Opal Shifflet & husband Ernie
of Speedwell, Bennie Mae Heck of Speedwell, Willie Mable Lynch & husband
Thomas C. of Pleasant Plain, OH, Mary Magdalene & husband Douglas Phillips of Flat
Rock, MI, Deloris Inez Portillo of Cincinnati, OH, Phyllis Ann Whittkop &
husband Fredrick of Monroe, MI; brothers, Kenneth Lavon Heck & wife Fay of
Speedwell, Millard Dee Heck of Speedwell; several nieces and nephews. The family
will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral services following in the Chapel with
ministers Kenneth Waytho and Phillip Alexander officiating. Her burial will be 2:00
pm, Sunday, October 30, 2005 at the Heck Family Cemetery in Speedwell. The
family has requested donations be made to Christian Congregation of Jehovah's
Witnesses, 470 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. Holley-Gamble Funeral
Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
