STOOKSBURY, LUTHER ELVIN - age 79, of Knoxville, died Saturday, October 9,
2004 at Holston Hospice Center in Knoxville. Surviving is his sister and
devoted caregiver, Lucy Hovers of Knoxville sister, Arizona Powell of
LaFollette brother, Ogle Stooksbury of Powell son, Elvin (Pete) Stooksbury
several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Graveside services will be
held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2004 in the chapel of Sherwood
Memorial Gardens on Alcoa Highway with Reverend Ronnie Dotson officiating.
Entombment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may
call at their convenience after 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2004 at the
mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the
charity of your choice. Arrangements by McCarty Mortuary, 4004 Holston Dr.
Knoxville.

Does anyone have an obituary on Elvin Luther or Luther Elvin Stooksbury s/o
George Taylor Stooksbury and Minnie Lovely. Born 1924 and died in Knox
County, Tn in Oct 2004?
