David Weldon, 50, of Powell,
Franklin Ira Hughes, of Oak Ridge,
David Weldon, 50, of Powell, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 2,
2005, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville.
David was born Nov. 6, 1954, in Anderson County. His hobbies were fishing and
riding motorcycles.
Mr. Weldon is survived by his wife, Tracy Weldon of Powell; his parents,
Howard and Jeanette Weldon of Clinton; his mother and father-in-law, Roger and
Brenda Yarborough of Oliver Springs; his sister-in-law, Kristy Duncan and
husband, Chris, of Oliver Springs; his nephew, Brady Duncan of Oliver Springs; two
uncles, Fritz Lebow and wife, Betty, of Clinton, and James Weldon and wife,
Blondina, of Huntsville, Ala.; two aunts, Lueann Gilbert of Ft. Worth, Texas, and
Jessie Hall of Huntsville, Ala.; and several cousins.
The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, in the chapel of
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Garvin Walls and the Rev.
Keith Price officiating.
Burial will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 10, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of arrangements.
Franklin Ira Hughes, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2005, at his
home.
Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs is in charge of the arrangements, which
were incomplete at press time.
