Just a reminder, the Pellissippi Genealogical & Historical Society 2005
Workshop is Saturday August 20, 2005, 9am to 11am.

The event will be held at the David Hall Cabin in Claxton TN.

Ray Smith will give a talk on "Early Roads in Tennessee - The Emery Road"

Ron Evans will present the history of the David Hall Cabin.



In addition, Gene Hicks of the Anderson County Sons of the Revolution will
be available to discuss their society and the dedication of the plaque at
the Anderson County Courthouse in November.

There is no admission charge to this event.

Directions:
On Edgemoor Road (TN 170) approximately 1 mile east of the TVA Bull Run
Steam Plant, turn south on New Henderson Road. Approximately 200 yards, turn
west on Old Edgemoor Lane. The road dead-ends at the cabin.
