FOUST, CURTIS HOOVER - age 76, of Clinton (formerly of Lake City),
VANN, LUCILLE - age 84, of Jacksboro
WOLFE, WALTER - age 87, of Clinton,
FOUST, CURTIS HOOVER - age 76, of Clinton (formerly of Lake City), passed
away Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at the U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a
member of the Clear Branch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents,
Roscoe & Irene Foust; brothers, Calvin & Harvey Foust. Survivors: sister, Ruth
Evone Foust of Clinton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12th
from 6 to 8 pm at the Holley- Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with the
funeral service to follow at 8 pm in the chapel with the Rev. James Lane
officiating. Interment will be Friday, May 13th. at 2:00 PM at the Foust Cemetery in Lake
City. Holley- Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City in charge of all arrangements.
VANN, LUCILLE - age 84, of Jacksboro passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at St.
Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of Cumberland View
Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Woodrow Vann and sons, Bill
Vann and Bobby Vann; parents, Elbert & Flora Thompson; brother, Ray Thompson and
sister Jean Hatmaker. Survivors are daughters: Linda Adams of Delphia, KY,
Brenda Knoll of Jacksboro, TN; brothers: Kyle Thompson of LaFollette, TN, Bob
Thompson of Dayton, OH; sister: Geneva Elkins, Mary Sue Lasley, both of Dayton,
OH; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Services will be 8 PM on
Thursday, May 12, at Cross Chapel with Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson officiating. Interment
will be 11 AM on Friday, May 13 at Bakers Forge Cemetery Family will receive
friends 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, May 12 at Cross Funeral Home. Arrangements made by

WOLFE, WALTER - age 87, of Clinton, passed away Monday, May 9, 2005 following
a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Grace (Turnbill)
Wolfe, who died April 17, 2003. Mr. Wolfe was a long-time member of Clinton
First Baptist Church. He retired in 1977 following 41 years as a foreman for
purchasing and materials with Southern Railway System and was a member of the
Transportation Communications International Union for more than 60 years. He was
a member of the American Legion and a Veteran of World War II service with the
U.S. Army's 191st Field Artillery Regimental Band, 75th Field Artillery
Brigade and the 96th Service Battery and was trombonist with the famed 42nd
Division Rainbow Brigade marching band. Mr. Wolfe was the oldest son of the late
Andrew Johnson Wolfe and Minnie Louvenia (Weaver) Wolfe of Knoxville and brother
to Wolfe Dairies founder, the late Harvey N. Wolfe. Survivors: daughter, Carol
Ann Hensley & husband Gene of Clinton; nieces, Suzanne Turnbill King & husband
Charles of Clinton, Linda Turnbill Wallace & husband Pat of Cookeville,
Patricia Turnbill Greeson of Oak Ridge; brother- in-law, Charles Turnbill of
Clinton; grandnieces, Terri Foust & husband Scott of Clinton, Claire Greeson of
Atlanta; nephews, Stacy King of Norris, Keith Turnbill of Lake City; host of
friends from his First Baptist Church family. The family will receive friends
1:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral
services following in the chapel with Rev. Terry Baker officiating. His burial
will follow at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that
memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in
Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
