Returned from my trip down south last night. Campbell County is very beautiful! The weather was cool and wet. but fortunately, it did not rain during our cemetery adventure. My husband and I drove over Pine Mountain, what a beautiful drive!! We went from Rt. 25 over Pine Mountain (where James Wilburn was born in 1876!!) to Stinking Creek Road and then to Hall Cemetery. I found Elihu & Isabelle's graves. The cemetery is pretty well maintained with only one area uncut. If you every go there, we did find several areas that were very soft....and one area had caved in, so walk carefully. Their graves are near a fence that is only about 10 ft long. We also found Rev. James Wilburn grave in Jacksboro Cemetery.
