APPEL, MRS. LINDA CARROLL - age 57 of Kerrville, Texas (formerly of Oakdale)
CROWE, MR. ETHEL - age 94 of Petros-Joyner Community,
APPEL, MRS. LINDA CARROLL - age 57 of Kerrville, Texas (formerly of Oakdale)
passed away April 2005. She was preceded in death by her mother, Inez Powers
Jones. She was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her sons: Hugh Allen
and wife, Julie Settles and their children, Jacob and Megan, Tracy and Travis
Settles, all of Harriman; father, Harold C. Jones of Oakdale; brothers and
sisters-in-law, Roger and Sue Jones of Crossville, Gene and Darlene Jones of
Harriman, and Stanley and Becky Jones of Oakdale; sisters and brothers-in-law,
Darrell and Becky Ruppe Christmas of Oakdale and Gary and Connie Walls of Kingston;
several nieces, nephews and special friends in Kerrville, Texas. The family
will receive friends Wednesday, April 6, 2005 from 6- 8 pm at Schubert Funeral
Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8 pm with Bro. Danny Jenkins
officiating. Burial will be on Thursday, 2 pm in Roane Memorial Gardens.
Schubert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
CROWE, MR. ETHEL - age 94 of Petros-Joyner Community, went home to be with
the LORD on April 6, 2005. He is survived by: his wife of 71 years, Eliza
Burgess Crowe of Petros-Joyner; children and their spouses, Sylvester Burgess of
Petros-Joyner, Nancy Goddard, Betty Lou Duncan and husband, Lewis, Exie Keathley
and husband, Chester, Thelma Bruce, Reba Woods, Roberta Hall and husband,
Andrew; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; five great-great
grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, April 8, 2005 from 6-8 pm
at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will be held on
Saturday, 11 am at Stephens Church with Bro. Harold Dean Ross officiating. Interment
will follow in Union Cemetery. Schubert Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements.
