FORD. EMMA JANE - age 67 of LaFollette, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005.
She was a member of Demory Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: husband,
Robert Leon Ford; mother, Susie Wilhoit; and sister, Pauline Wyrick.
Survivors: sons & daughters-in-law, Paul & Wanda Wilhoit, Thomas & Ashleigh
Ford, all of LaFollette; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother,
Tom Wilhoit, of Ohio. Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday Cross Chapel, Rev. Randy
Comer officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, Bakers Forge Cemetery. The
family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Cross Funeral Home.


GODFREY, KENNETH WAYNE - age 64 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, April 2,
2005 at Methodist Medical Center. Kenneth was a member and Deacon at Temple
Baptist Church of Powell. He worked at BWXT/Y-12 as a Lab Analyst and was a
veteran of the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by: his father,
Burl Godfrey. Survivors: wife of 41 years, Betty Godfrey of Clinton; sons,
Andrew Wayne Godfrey & wife Christie of Clinton, Matthew Kenneth Godfrey of
Clinton; mother, Thelma Godfrey of LaFollette; sister, Brenda Berry of
Ellijay, GA; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 6:30 pm, Monday, April 4, 2005 at Temple Baptist
Church with Pastor Clarence Sexton officiating and the visitation will
follow the funeral. His burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday at Woodhaven
Memorial Garden. The Active Deacons at Temple Baptist Church will serve as
pallbearers. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all
arrangements.


KINCAID, GARNETT CROSS - age 78 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, April 3,
2005 at his home after a year-long illness. Kincaid was born and raised in
the Eagle Bend area. Garnett was secretary/treasurer during his years at
Magnet Mills. In more recent years, he was an accountant and co-owned K&K
Enterprises in Oak Ridge. He was a lifelong member of Memorial United
Methodist Church in Clinton, where he served as a trustee, chairman of the
administrative board and chairperson of the Parish staff for several years.
Kincaid was also past President of the Clinton Civitans Club and had been a
member of the Clinton School Board as well as the Board of Directors for
Union Peoples Bank in Clinton. Kincaid was a veteran of the United States
Army having served during World War II. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta
fraternity at the University of Tennessee where he and his wife, Alice
Fonde, met. Kincaid enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and
following UT sports. Garnett is preceded in death by: his parents, Carl S.
and Shollie C. Kincaid; stepmother, Patricia R. Kincaid; brother, James
Barry Kincaid; and daughter, Shollie C. Kincaid. Survivors: wife of 56
years, Alice Fonde Kincaid of Clinton; son, Garnett C. Kincaid, Jr. & wife
Angie of Knoxville; daughters, Angela Kincaid Rentfro & husband Jack of
Knoxville, Lori Ellen Kincaid & husband John Webb of Del Rio, TN;
granddaughter, Tara Webb of New York, New York; brother, Carl S. Kincaid &
wife Helen of Oak Ridge; sister, Mary Bronwyn Snyder-Jarvis & husband Keith
of Columbia, SC; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends
from 1:00-3:00 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at Memorial United Methodist
Church in the Fellowship Hall with funeral services following with Rev. Don
Thomas officiating. His burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Garden.

Street, Clinton, TN 37716 or the charity of your choice. Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.


LONG, MARTHA J. - age 78, born January 27, 1927, of Harriman went to be with
the Lord Saturday, April 2, 2005, at her home. Preceded in death by: her
husband of 59 years, James C. Long; mother, Effie Jarvis; father, Arlie
Jarvis; brothers, Richard Jarvis & Bill Jarvis, both of Rockwood. She was a
retired secretary from Harriman City School System. Active member of Trenton
Street Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors: daughters,
Becky Jones of Harriman, Kathie Parks & husband, Larry, of Kingston Springs,
TN, Mary Jayne Long & fiancé', Warren Holston, of Brandon, FL, Krista Helton
& husband, Steve, of Rockwood; son, James C. Long, II and wife, Shelia, of
Crossville; sisters, Mary Miller of Rockwood; brothers, Howard Jarvis of
Rockwood; grandchildren, D. Michael Jones, Joseph Christopher Long, Michael
Long, Emily Helton and Heather Long Barger; great grandchildren, Keaton
Jones, Amaya Barger, Averiella Barger, Hailey Cole. Special thanks &
appreciation to our Angels from Heaven & caregivers, Treva Bryant, Brenda
Pressley. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Monday at Kyker Funeral Home Chapel, Harriman,
with Pastor Kim McCroskey officiating. Interment in Roane Memorial Gardens
10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Monday at Kyker Funeral Home, Harriman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the Alzheimer's Association or Trenton Street Baptist Church,
Harriman.

RIGGS, DOROTHY STOOKSBURY - age 75 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, April 3,
2005 at Lake City Health Care Center. She was a member of Sinking Springs
United Methodist Church. She retired from Bell South as a Plant Manager
Clerk after 34 years. Dorothy is preceded in death by: son, William Gordon
Riggs. Survivors: husband of 53 years, William Riggs of Clinton;
daughter-in-law, Dianna Womble & husband Hal of Centerville and their
daughter, Brittany; sister, Shirley Collins of Clinton; several nieces and
nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 5,
2005 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the
Chapel with Rev. Mike Johnson & Rev. Lisa Stone officiating. Her burial will
be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Hamilton Memorial Garden. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home
in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
