COLLINS, O.C. - age 78, of Clinton,

COLLINS, O.C. - age 78, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004
at his home. He was a longtime member and deacon of Clinton Second Baptist
Church and a 50 year member of Masonic Lodge Alpha #376. He retired from the Y-12
Plant after 44 years of service as an electrician. He was preceded in death by
parents, Manuel and Bertha Collins; brothers, William and Bruce Collins, all
of Claiborne County. Survivors: wife of 60 years, Pauline R. Collins of
Clinton; daughters, Patsy Collins of Nashville, Brenda & husband Fred Latham of
Knoxville; grandson, Zachary Latham of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Linda Collins of
Claiborne County; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the
staff of No Place Like Home for their care and assistance. The family will
receive friends 6:00- 7:30 PM, Friday, November 12, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral
Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Mike Thompson
officiating. The burial will be 11:00 AM, Saturday at Woodhaven Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers will be Ron Shrader, Elmo Lynch, Lewis Braden, Steve Queener,
John Alig and Rick Walker; honorary pallbearers will be the Brotherhood Sunday
School Class. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to
Covenant Hospice, 3001 Lake Brook, Suite 101, Knoxville, Tennessee 37909.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
