COOPER, EFFIE MAE ROLLINS - age 89 of LaFollette,
JORDAN, ABNER CURTIS "CURT" - 85 of Oak Ridge
KNIGHT, EUGENE EDWARD - age 65, of Clinton,
TAYLOR, VICTORIA - age 51 of Clinton,

COOPER, EFFIE MAE ROLLINS - age 89 of LaFollette, went to be with the Lord,
Wednesday, October 13 at her home. She was a longtime member of Cedar Hill
Baptist Church. Effie loved gardening, taking care of her flowers and spending
time and taking care of her family. Preceded in death by husband of 56 years,
George B. Cooper; parents, Calvin and Jane Howard Rollings; sisters, Cora, Kitty,
Loreda, Eunice, Sophia and Grace; brothers, Rule and John Rollins. She is
survived by sons, John D. Cooper, LaFollette, Ed & Larry Cooper, Brighton, Colo.,
Gene Cooper, Westminister, MD; daughters, Rita Jane Cooper, Pasadena, MD,
Shirley Offerson, Denver, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren;
special niece, June Cassell and several other nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral service 8 p.m. Saturday, October 16 at Cedar Hill Baptist Church,
Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Sunday, October 17 at Bakers
Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday before the
funeral at the church. Arrangements by Cross Fuenral Home.

JORDAN, ABNER CURTIS "CURT" - 85 of Oak Ridge passed away Tuesday October 12,
2004 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Funeral services will be held
Saturday October 16, 2004 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral
Home with Rev. Bob Cantrell and Rev. Amanda Bell officiating. Interment will
follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday October
15, 2004 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family
requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of East Tennessee

KNIGHT, EUGENE EDWARD - age 65, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, October 14,
2004 at Methodist Medical Center. Mr. Knight was a member of Clinch River
Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Olla Knight.
Survivors: wife, Kathy Knight of Clinton; daughters, Kris and her husband, David
McEntire of Moore, Okla., Tammy and husband, Robert Schroeder of New Castle, Ind.,
Karen and husband, Joe Askins of Williamsburg, Ky.; sons, Gregory and wife,
Anita Knight of Lake City, Tenn., Jeffery Knight of Lake City, Tenn., David and
wife, Jennifer Schandler of Corbin, Ky.; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services
10 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2004 Holley-Gamble Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge and
Rev. Larry Webster officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 6- 8 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2004. Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home in Clinton, in charge of arrangements.

TAYLOR, VICTORIA - age 51 of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2004
at her residence. Member of Sinking Springs United Methodist Church.
Survivors: husband, Charles Taylor of Clinton; daughters, Jaydie Osborn Farmer of
Nashville, Jennifer Pio and husband, Jimmie Colley of Ft. Payne, Ala.; step son,
Joseph and his wife, Denise Taylor of Clinton; step daughter, Tiffany Taylor of
Clinton; 8 grandchildren. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2004
Sinking Springs United Methodist Church, Rev. Lisa Stone officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.
Friday October 15, 2004. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of
arrangements.
