HUNTER, MRS. ANNA SHARP - 100 years of age of LaFollette
WATSON, GEORGIA MAE PARTON of Claxton,
WRIGHT, IRENE RUSSELL - age 93, of Oliver Springs

HUNTER, MRS. ANNA SHARP - 100 years of age of LaFollette passed way Tuesday,
October 12, 2004. Mrs. Hunter graduated from Peabody College in 1926. She was
a life time member of the LaFollette Methodist Church. She was preceded in
death by her husband Dewey S. Hunter, her son Robert Jerry Hunter, parents Robert
H. and Lena Smith Sharp, one sister, Sophia Sharp and brother-in- law. She is
survived by her daughter-in-law, Billie Sue Hunter; five granddaughters and
twelve great grandchildren; two nieces, Ann Upchurch and Carol Smith and
families. Graveside services and interment Saturday, October 16th at 10 A.M. at the
Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Danny Hensley officiating. In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to the LaFollette United Methodist Church or Roane State
College of Campbell County. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be
serving the family of Mrs. Anna Sharp Hunter.

WATSON, GEORGIA MAE PARTON of Claxton, passed away October 10, 2004 after
struggling eight years with Alzheimer's and its complications. She was born
November 6, 1928 and was a graduate of Sevier Co. High School. She was preceded in
death by: husband, Eual Watson; father, Calvin Parton; mother, Willie Frances
Lowe Parton; sister, Beatrice Loveday; and beloved sister-in-law, Mary Rene
Watson. She is survived by: one brother, Leroy "Buddy" Parton; and seven
children, Steve Watson, Benny and Judy Bible-Smith, Patricia and Terry Long, Kimberly
Black, Darlene Watson, Theresa Croft, and John Watson; grandchildren, Lisa
Roberts, Chuck Bible, Brian Henegar, Jesse Watson, Shauntay Watson, Joe Tyler
Watson, Scott and Cameron Beeler, Rock Black; 4 great- grandchildren. She was a
Martin Marietta retiree and a member of Riverview Baptist Church. A special
thank you to caregivers, Valerie Nemes, Bhula Wilson, and Jeri Bouchard. The
family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7pm with memorial services to follow
at 7 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, with Rev. David Watson
officiating. A private interment services will be in the Woodhaven Memorial
Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation, 4700 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN, 37914 or to the Kerbela
Shriners, 315 Mimosa Ave, Knoxville, TN 37920. Arrangements by Woodhaven Funeral

WRIGHT, IRENE RUSSELL - age 93, of Oliver Springs passed away Tuesday,
October 12, 2004 at the Harriman Health & Rehab Center. She was born November 22,
1910 in Roane County. She was an active member of Dyllis Baptist Church where
she taught the Martha Butler Sunday School class for several years. She was a
homemaker, a devoted mother and a loving grandmother. Preceded in death by her
husband, John E. Wright; parents, Joseph S. Russell & Alice Jane Scandlyn
Russell; son-in-law, Donald Wayne Ellis; sisters, Lillian Stubbs, Mary Dunsmore &
Ruby Wright; brothers, Alfred Russell, Lawrence Russell, James Russell, Walt
Russell & Joseph Alvin Russell. Survivors: children, Nancy Ellis of Knoxville,
Johnny N. Wright & wife, Barbara of Oliver Springs, Kathy Taylor & husband,
Bill of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Michael W. Ellis & wife, Kimberly, Kristin
Berexa & husband, Dan, Drew Taylor & Leslie Taylor, Jason Coker & wife,
Sheryl; 7 great-grandchildren; A host of friends and extended family members. The
family expresses their appreciation and gratitude to the nursing staff of the
400 Wing at the Harriman Health & Rehabilitation Center. The family will
receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home
with funeral service following at 8:00 pm, in the chapel with Rev. Charlie Dean
officiating. Burial and graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday at
Anderson Memorial Gardens. Sharp Funeral Home of Oliver Springs in charge of all
