EARLY, WILLIAM "BILLY" WALTER age 59, of Andersonville
HAYLEY, WILLIAM THEODORE age 76 of Lancing,
EARLY, WILLIAM "BILLY" WALTER age 59, of Andersonville passed away Sunday,
September 19, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center. He was a member of Charity
Baptist Church. He retired from Acme Plaster Company in Knoxville as a Foreman. He
loved horses & chickens. Preceded in death by: parents, Earnest & Christine
Holt Early; & brother, Charles Early. Survivors: wife, Effie Jones Early of
Andersonville; daughters, Debbie Early of Andersonville, Christy & husband
Franklin Brown of Andersonville; grandchildren, Amanda, Tracy & Bre-Anna Brown of
Andersonville; brothers, Leon & wife Jeanette Early of Andersonville, Roy & wife
Barbara Early of Andersonville, Clifford & wife Brenda Early of Andersonville,
Hubert Early of Clinton; sister, Betty Sherrod of Clinton; special friends,
Ronnie & Lela Hall of Clinton; several nieces & nephews. The family will
receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral
Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Bobby Hatfield &
Rev. Charles "Bud" Cook officiating. The burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday at
Woodhaven Memorial Garden. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge
of all arrangements.
HAYLEY, WILLIAM THEODORE age 76 of Lancing, passed away Sunday, Sept. 19,
2004, at Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. He was a deacon at Oak Grove Free
Will Independent Church, Lancing. Preceded in death by: his parents, William
Carl Hayley and Violet Potter Hayley Hicks; brother, Maanix Hayley; sister,
Laura Odell; and one granddaughter, Amy Essex. Surviving: wife of 51 years,
Bernice Olmstead Hayley; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Joy Hayley, of Oak
Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Cecil Essex, of Cookeville; four
granddaughters; Leah and husband, Andy Kelley, Candi and husband, Seth Blankenship,
Bethany Hayley and fiancée, Dustin McKinney, all of Marion, N.C., Lauren Essex,
of Cookeville; one grandson, Andrew Essex; and one great granddaughter, Adara
Kelley, of Marion, N.C. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 22,
2004, 1 p.m. Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Wartburg with Rev. Roger Hayley, Rev.
Junior Nance and Rev. Rick Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Mt.
Hope Cemetery, Deer Lodge, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening,
Sept. 21, 2004, from 7 to 9 p.m. Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.
