HYDE, CARLTON EUGENE - age 84 of Jacksboro,
WRIGHT, ANDREW CHESTER "MAC" - 79, of Knoxville,
HYDE, CARLTON EUGENE - age 84 of Jacksboro, passed away Sunday August 8, 2004
at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. He was retired from the Marketing
Division of Delta Airlines. Preceded in death by: parents, Clarence and Louise
Ulmer Hyde. Survivors: wife, Frances Hyde, Jacksboro; and brother, Corbett E.
Hyde of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Memorial Service 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August
11, at Jacksboro First Baptist Church. Rev Bill Morris officiating. Inurnment in
Jacksboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Campbell
County Humane Society or Campbell County Heart Association. Arrangements by Cross
Funeral Home.
WRIGHT, ANDREW CHESTER "MAC" - 79, of Knoxville, died Monday, August 09, 2004
at his home. He was born September 12, 1924 in Knoxville, the son of Joseph
Henry and Kitty Wright. Mr. Wright retired from Martin Marietta Energy Systems,
Y-12 where he was Process Operator. He was a member of Central Baptist Church
and the Cedar Hill Golf Club in Lenoir City, where he was an avid golfer. He
is survived by: his wife of 57 years, Ruth Teffeteller Wright; son, Larry
Wright and his wife Libby of Knoxville; sisters, Jewell Baker of Maryville and
Helen Keller of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Tricia Porter of Charlotte, NC and
Kerry Anthony of Chapel Hill, NC; and great granddaughter, Sara Anthony of
Chapel Hill, NC. Funeral services are Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at 8:00pm at
Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Bobby Mullins officiating. Graveside services are
Thursday, 10:00am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family asks that any memorials
be in the form of contributions to the Building Fund of Central Baptist
Church, 130 Providence Rd., Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge.
