BOHANAN, MR. TIMOTHY WILLIAM - age 34, of the Burrville community
CARSON, MR. GILBERT L. - age 76 of LaFollette
WHITTENBURG, HELEN BAKER - 78, of Oak Ridge,

BOHANAN, MR. TIMOTHY WILLIAM - age 34, of the Burrville community passed away
suddenly at his home April 23, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Richard Earl (Buddy) and Shirley Bohanan. He is survived by his wife, Dawn
Marie (Cooper) Bohanan; children, Christoper William Bohanan, Wesley Earl
Bohanan and Jessica Ann Bohanan; brother, Richard (Bud) and wife Kelly Bohanan of
Knoxville; sister, Katherine Inman of Knoxville; father and mother-in-law,
Clovis and Bridget Cooper of Burrville; sister and brother-in-law, Crystal and
DeWayne Doss of Burrville; aunts and uncles, Sandy Hahn of Lenoir City, Barbara
and Bill Beck of Seymour, June and Bob Setzkorn of Knoxville, Tn.; also several
nieces, nephews and friends. The family received friends Sunday evening, April
25, 2004 at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral services was held at
8:00 with Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Graveside service was Monday, April 26,
11:00 a.m. in Mt. Vernon cemetery Burrville, Tn.

CARSON, MR. GILBERT L. - age 76 of LaFollette passed away Monday, April 26,
2004, at St. Mary's Residential Hospice in Knoxville. Preceded in death by his
wife, Mrs. Betty Carson, parents, Austin and Ida Carson, and by sister,
Pauline West. He was former Chairman of the Campbell County Republican Party, a
fifty year member of the Jellico Masonic Lodge #527 F. & A.M., and was of the
Baptist faith.
Survivors: Daughter, Melinda Powers and husband, Richard of Clinton. Sons,
Rick Carson and wife, Elaine of Hixson, TN, Danny Carson and wife, Christine of
LaFollette, James Carson and wife, Becky of Springsboro, OH, and Roger Carson
and wife, Sara of Cleveland, TN. Ten Grandchildren. Brother, Delmon Carson of
Louisville, KY. Special friends, Frank C. Agee and Arnold Ray Poteet, and
longtime neighbors Millard and Cleo Queener all of LaFollette. Several other
relatives and friends. Funeral services Wednesday 8 P.M. at Walters Chapel with
Rev. Bobby Ray Wilson and Rev. Larry Russell officiating. The family and friends
will meet Thursday 10 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell
Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. The family will receive
friends from 5:30 to 8 P.M. Wednesday before services at Walters Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to the St. Mary's
Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938. Walters Funeral
Home of LaFollette is honored to serving the family of Mr. Gilbert L. Carson.


WHITTENBURG, HELEN BAKER - 78, of Oak Ridge, passed away at Methodist Medical
Center at 1:25am Monday April 26th, with her family by her side. Mrs.
Whittenburg has been a long time resident of Oak Ridge. She has owned and managed
commercial properties which she and her late husband, Lee R. Whittenburg,
developed. Helen was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her
family and friends. She is survived by her three daughters and two son-in-law's;
Pamela and Barry Stanner, Patricia Whittenburg, and Paula and Michael Morton.
She is also survived by her only grandchild, Jessica Leigh Yeatman of Oak
Ridge. Funeral services are Friday, April 30, 2004 at 8:00 pm at Weatherford
Mortuary. Graveside services are Saturday at 11:00 am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be may to the American Cancer Society. The family
will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak
