BOWLING, WILLIAM ALBERT, JR. - age 82, of Clinton,
DAY, BRENDA "GAIL" - age 51, of Lake City

BOWLING, WILLIAM ALBERT, JR. - age 82, of Clinton, passed away Saturday,
March 6, 2004 at Baptist Hospital. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church in
Clinton. William was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite Temple &
I.B.E.W. Preceded in death by: parents, William Albert Bowling Sr. & Carolyn
Sowers Bowling; sister, Jane Bowling Miller and her husband Harry F. Miller.
Survivors: wife of 64 years, Helen (Dossett) Bowling of Clinton; daughters,
Carolyn B. Wilson of Rockwood, Billie Sue Hammer & husband Jeff of Clinton;
grandchildren, Susan & husband Aaron Ficken of Rockwood, Charley Wilson of
Asheville, N.C., Will Hammer of Andersonville, Clay Hammer of Andersonville; cousin,
Jane Louise Beck Venable & husband Bruce of Cincinnati, OH; niece, Mary Jane
Miller of Oak Ridge; nephew, Harry "Herky" F. Miller Jr. & wife Suzanne of San
Antonio, TX. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 9,
2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 am,
Wednesday in the chapel with Rev. Sam Dean officiating. The interment will follow at
Sunset Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all
arrangements.
DAY, BRENDA "GAIL" - age 51, of Lake City passed away Saturday, March 6, 2004
at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She attended Lake City First Baptist
Church. Preceded in death by: stepfather, W.D. Reed. Gail was born January 31, 1953
in Campbell County. Survivors: husband, Gary Day of Lake City; daughters,
Jennifer Hill & fiancé Chris Curtin of Clinton, Amy Day of Lake City; mother,
Sara Reed of Clinton; father, Charles Rolston of Jacksboro; stepsister, Judy &
husband Dave Clark of Bluff City; stepbrothers, Charles Rolston of Jacksboro,
Mark Rolston of Wichita, Kansas; granddaughter, Katie Hill of Clinton. The
family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Holley-Gamble
Funeral Home with funeral services following in the Chapel with Rev. Brian
Courtney officiating. The interment will be 11:00 am, Wednesday at Leach Cemetery.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
