Jake Belew, age 75 of Tackett Creek, died Feb. 28 at Jellico Community
Hospital.
Preceded in death by his father and mother, Lewis Belew and Adeline Bowman
Belew; brother, Richard Belew; sister, Della Hatfield; nephews, Roger Allen Blue
and Ben York; sister-in-law, Anna Jeffries Blue. Survivors include his wife,
Jane Belew, Tackett Creek; sons, Gary Dennis Belew and wife, Janet,
LaFollette, Robbie Dale Belew and wife Norma Jean, LaFollette; grandchildren, Daniel
Scott Belew, Travis Lynn Belew, Steven Andrew Belew, Kaitelyn Belew, Brooklyn
Belew, Sarah Belew; great-granddaughter, Morgan Taylor Hughes; brothers, James
Belew, Knoxville, Bill Belew, Tackett Creek, Ben Belew, Tackett Creek; sister,
Myrtle Queener, LaFollette; brother-in-law, Johnny Jefferies and wife Pam,
LaFollette; nephew, Lynn Jefferies, Houston, Tx; nieces, Melanie Claborn,
LaFollette, Vickie Karen Hatfield, Tackett Creek, Lisa Diane Blue, Huntsville, Ala,
Debra Ann Loveday, LaFollette; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives
and many dear friends. Masonic Service conducted at the Harp Funeral Home by
the Jellico Lodge #527 F&AM. Funeral services were March 2 at Anthras Baptist
Church with Rev. Johnny Partin and Walter Buck Kimberlin officiating. Harp
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Virgil L. Branam age 71 of LaFollette died Feb. 25, at his home. He was of
the Holiness Faith. Preceded in death by his great granddaughter Caleigh Laceann
Haynes-Kimberlin; parents, Floyd and Cora Branam; brothers, Vestal and Monroe
Branam; sister, Evelyn Smiddy and son-in-law Tommy Haynes. Survivors include
his wife, Opal Branam of LaFollette; daughter, Gail Haynes of White Oak; son,
Doyle Branam, and wife, Darlene of LaFollette; four grandchildren, three great
grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Bolton, Lucille Sands, and Ethel Smiddy all of
LaFollette; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral
services were Feb. 27 at Stinking Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Ayers and
Rev. Jimmy Sands officiating. Interment was in the Davis Cemetery.
Walters Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Morgan Dople, age 79 of Wooldridge died Feb. 23 at the Methodist Medical
Center in Oak Ridge. Survivors include his wife, Louise Dople, Wooldridge; a host
of cousins and friends. Funeral services were Feb. 25 at the Llewellyn Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Leman Perry and Rev. Francis Dople, Jr.
officiating. Interment was in the Douglas cemetery. Llewellyn Funeral Home was in charge
of the arrangements.

Pauline Arnett Elliott, age 84 of Dallas, Tx, formerly of Jellico died Feb.
22. Survivors include her sons, Wilbur Welch, Dallas, Tx, Steve Elliott, Ormond
Beach, Fl, John Elliott, Daytona Beach, Fl; brother, John (Bill) Arnett,
Dayton, Oh; five grandchildren.
Graveside services were Feb. 28 at the Jellico Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie
Thomas officiating. Llewellyn Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Georgia H. Evans age 87 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, March 2,
2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Anthras
Baptist Church and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star. Preceded in death
by husband, Ted Evans; daughter, Juanita Lambdin and son, Lonas Evans.
Survivors: sons, Dennis Ray Evans of Roses Creek, Jim Evans of Tackett Creek.;
daughter, Barbara Weaver of LaFollette; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren;
two great-great grandchildren; brother Dorsey Hatfield of LaFollette; sister
Katherine Weir of Florida. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are Thursday at 8 pm. at Walters Chapel with Rev. Bernley
Lambdin officiating. Interment will be Friday 11 a.m. at Oddfellow Cemetery. The
family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday before services at
Walters Funeral Home. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving
the family of Mrs. Georgia H. Evans.

Laura Jaye McGuire Fox, age 32, of 4905 Holston Drive, Knoxville died
unexpectedly on Feb. 29. She was born Nov. 24, 1971 in Bristol, Tn but had made her
home in Mountain City, Tn all of her life prior to moving to Knoxville. She was
a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain City. A 1990
graduate of Johnson City High School and a 1995 graduate of E.T.S.U. having received
a B.S. in Interior Design. She was the design director of Bluegreen
Purchasing and Design Company of Knoxville.
Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Fred Beckett; paternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S.L. McGuire. Survivors include her husband, David Fox,
Knoxville; parents, Bill and Judy Beckett McGuire, Mountain City, Tn; brother,
Patrick McGuire and wife, Laurie, Felts Mills, NY; maternal grandmother, Maxine
Beckett, Winter Garden, Fl; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services were March 3 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Don
Morris and Rev. Margaret Owens-Yates officiating. Private family committal
services were in the Donnelly Cemetery. Pall bears were Jamie Church, Chase Dier,
Zachary Dier, Mike Feistner, Clay Savery, Will Savery, Eddie Sheehan and Tom
Sheehan. Honorary pallbearers were Benson Crotts, Danny Cunningham, Robert
Cunningham, Kenny Davenport, Nelson Gray, Todd Grayson, Stedman Greever, Matthew
Hawkins, Sam McGuire, Tom McGuire, Michael Phagan, Joe Savery and Bill Trathen.

Robert J. Garner, age 65 of LaFollette died Feb. 25 at the Ft. Sanders
Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He gave donations to charities especially St.
Jude's and Shriners. He was a retired machinist from Kroger Co. after 30 years
services in Cincinnati. Preceded in death by his parents: George Joseph &
Clara Flake Garner. Survivors include his daughters & sons-in-law: Dianna & Mark
Nelson of LaFollette, Judy & Michael Gray of Briceville, Sandy & Kevin Welden
of Caryville; children's mother: Marie Leinart of Lake City; granddaughters,
Derrah White, Jessica Carroll, Morgan Welden, Haley Welden, Kate Nelson;
grandson: Jacob Welden; step-grandchildren, Rebecca Nelson and Mike Gray; brothers,
George Garner of Rochester, NY, and James Garner of Cincinnati, OH; several
nieces , nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services
were Feb. 27 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Pastors Rick
Howard and Lonnie Welden officiating. Interment was in Peabody Cemetery. Martin
Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Earnest Lee Hatmaker, age 77 of Lake City died Feb. 26 at the Lake City
Health Care Center after a lengthy illness. He was born July 17, 1926 in Briceville
to the late Fred and Vera Harris Hatmaker. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Nathaniel Hatmaker; brothers, Paul and
Claude Hatmaker. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Georgia Reynolds
Hatmaker, Lake City; sons, Freddie Hatmaker, Lake City, Lee Void Hatmaker, Lake
City; daughter, Amanda Lee Hatmaker, Lake City; brother, Glen Dean Hatmaker,
Lake City; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; a host of relatives and
many friends. Graveside services were Feb. 29 at the Jarnigan Chapel Baptist
Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Hatmaker Funeral Home was in
charge of the arrangements.

Regina Ann Henderson, age 77 of Knoxville died Feb. 25 at the St. Mary's
Residential Hospice in Knoxville. She was born July 15 in Louisville, Ky to the
late Henry Clay and Martha Ella Packett Byrd. She attended the Inskip Baptist
Church of Knoxville. She loved tending to her Day Lilies in her garden. Preceded
in death by her parents; husband, Donald T. Henderson; brother, John Byrd;
sisters, Shirley Middleton and Iva Mae Byrd.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon Henderson,
Knoxville; daughters and son-in-laws, Donna Griggs, Diane and Rodger Lowe,
Knoxville, Kimberly and Steve Tindell, Sevierville, Timber and Rob Shelton,
Knoxville; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Graveside services were
March 1 at the Lyons View Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville with Rev. Billy Bell
officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the St. Mary's
Residential Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, Tn 37938. Hatmaker Funeral

Aileen Ball Hornsby, age 82, of Dandridge formerly of Williamsburg, Ky died
Feb. 28 in Sevierville. She was a member of First Baptist Church in
Sevierville. Preceded in death by her father, Vess Ball. Survivors include her husband,
Thomas Hornsby, Dandridge; daughter, Judy Carol Wolterman and husband, Thomas,
Dandridge; son, Thomas S. Hornsby and wife, Joyce Ann, Jacksboro;
grandchildren, Noel Wolterman, Tommy Wolterman, Darla Hornsby, Jeff Hornsby; stepmother,
Nettie Ball, Williamsburg, Ky; sisters, Elen Perkins, Morrow, Oh, Christine
Sevier, Mainville, Oh, Ernistine Lewis, Mainville, Oh, Josephine King,
Sevierville; brothers, Elmer Ball, Bronson, Fl, Ronald Ball, Fort Myers, Fl; several
nieces and nephews. Funeral services are March 4 at Croley Funeral Home with Rev.
Janus Jones officiating. Interment was in the Davis Addition Highland Park
Cemetery in Williamsburg, Ky. Croley Funeral Home of Williamsburg, Ky was in
charge of the arrangements.

Harriet Klock, age 84, of Jacksboro died Feb. 28 at her daughter's home of a
heart attack. She was a Jehovah's Witness and spent her life teaching other
the truths of the Bible. Having spent the last 32 years among the mountain folk
she, she became beloved by many and will be missed. Survivors include her
children, Lynda and Alan Miller, Dick and Wanda Klock, Chris and Calie Klock;
grandchildren, Jessica, Timothy, Cameron and Brandt. Funeral services were March 3
at The Kingdom Hall.
Georgia Esta Lindsay, age 86 of Jacksboro died Feb. 25 at the U.T. Medical
Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.Preceded in
death by her husband, Goldmon Lindsay; daughters, Grace Elizabeth Tapp, Meady
Ann Lasley, Dixie Fay Shelton; one grandson; one great great grandson;
Parents,: Andy "A.J." and Almeady Williams Gross; five sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Belvia Mae Chapman, Martha Evelyn Swafford,
Georgie Louise Adkins all of Jacksboro, Betty Sue Draughn of Caryville, Mary
Ellen Wallace of Cleveland, TN; 23 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren; brother:
Buddy Gross of IN; sisters, Pearl Nickerson of IN and Marie Richardson of
LaFollette; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A special thanks to Namon Lewis Adkins for an extra few days we had with
mommy. Funeral services were Feb.28 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home
with Rev. Don Allen, Brother Carl Bradshaw and Brother Vance Irwin officiating.
Interment was in Indian Creek Cemetery. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in
charge of the arrangements.

Cinderella Moore age 83 of LaFollette died Feb. 29 at St. Mary's Residential
Hospice in Knoxville. She was a member of the First Independent Baptist Church
of LaFollette and retired from Imperial Reading Corp. after working for over
40 years. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters. Survivors
include her daughters, Carole Hill and husband, Paul of LaFollette, Kay Moore
and husband Doug Richards of Destin, FL; grandson Avery Cook, Nashville, TN;
special niece Marie Meredith of LaFollette; several nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. Funeral Services were March 2 at Faithway Assembly of God
Church with Rev. Delmar Moore and Rev. Steve Bruce officiating. Interment was in
Campbell Memorial Gardens. Walters Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements.

Delores Nolan, age 59 of Knoxville formerly of LaFollette died Feb. 23 at the
St. Mary's Medical Center of Knoxville. She was of the Baptist Faith. She
enjoyed being with her family and friends especially her grandbabies. Preceded in
death by her husbands, Johnny Ruben Baird and Tom Nolan; father, Robert
Petree. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Wanda Baird and
Ricky and Jodi Nolan all of Knoxville; sons, Billy and Bobby Baird;
daughters, Brenda Madison and Linda Baird all of LaFollette, Lisa Baird of Lake City;
Debbie Nolan of Knoxville; 13 grandchildren; mother, Jessie Petree of
LaFollette; brother: James Petree of LaFollette and a host of other relatives and
friends. Funeral Services were Feb. 27 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home
with Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment was in Campbell Memorial
Gardens. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Tina Lutts Clymer Richardson, age 51, of Caryville, died Feb. 27. She was a
member of the United Methodist Church. A 1970 graduate of Oak Ridge High
School, Tina was a long time member and Past President of the Farragut Jaycettes.
Employed by Duratek Federal Services at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She
formerly owned and operated convenience stores in Sevier and Knox Counties for many
years. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy. She was preceded
in death by parents O.L. and Frankie Lutts and brother Tom. Survivors include
her husband Ken Richardson of Caryville; sons, Ken Clymer and wife Lisa of
Maryville, and Bradley Clymer of Horse Cave KY; grandson Joshua Clymer of
Maryville; step daughter Karen Richardson; grandchildren Cameron and Katherine
Richardson; father and mother-in-law Walter and Lois Richardson, all of LaFollette,
cousin Janet Gunselman of Norris, and long time friends Nancy Forbes and Pat
Crumley. Graveside services were March 1 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family
request in lieu of flowers donation can be made to the Humane Society of
Campbell County, P.O. Box 742, Jacksboro, TN 37757 or St. Jude's Children's
Hospital, Memphis, TN. Martin Funeral Home of Oak Ridge was in charge of the
arrangements.

Grace Elizabeth Carroll Trammell, age 87, of Middlesboro died Feb. 22 at
Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Jake
Trammell; brother, Jim Carroll, Tommy Carroll; sisters, Sally Ann Nagy.
Survivors include her son, N.J. Trammel and wife, Maureen, Middlesboro;
granddaughter, Tammy Trammel, Middlesboro; grandson, Terry Jay Trammel, Hilton Head, SC;
great-grandson, Jacob Allen Trammel; nieces, Shirley Lawson, Patty Chadwell,
June Williams, Frankie Smiddy and Betty Jo Basero; nephews, Jimmy Ray Carroll,
Tommy Ray Carroll and Howard Carroll; sister-in-law, Dorothy Carroll; many
friends, brothers and sisters of the church she attended, Abundant Life
Fellowship. Funeral services were Feb. 25 at the Chapel of Harp Funeral Home with the
Rev. Orville Petrey and Walter Washam officiating. Interment was in Green Hills
Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro. Harp Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements.

Juanita Rosa Webb, age 71, of Caryville died Feb. 26 at St. Mary's of
Campbell County. She was a member of Fordtown Baptist Church. Preceded in death by
her parents, Millard and Rosie McKamey Green; sister, Magalene Green; brothers,
Edward Green and Fred Phillips. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Webb, Fl;
two grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Wilson, Caryville, Flonzie Long, Daisy Greene,
Cloteen Johnson, all of Al; brother, M.F. Green, LaFollette; several nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services were Feb. 28 at Fordtown
Baptist Church with Rev. David Hicks officiating. Interment was in the Bullock
Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Walter Alvin Wilson, age 63 of LaFollette died Feb. 24 at the Fort Sanders
Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of the Big Creek Gap
Baptist Church and the Eagles Lodge. He was a loving husband, father, and
grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed
camping and fishing.
Preceded in death by his parents, Otney and Alma Derrie Wilson; brothers:
J.L., Phillip, Carl, Don, and Nookie Wilson; sister, Gaynell Prince. Survivors
include his wife, Deloris Wilson of LaFollette; sons: Danny Wilson of Jackson,
TN, David Wilson of Madisonville, TN; daughter: Beverly W. Herrera of Houston,
TX; grandchildren: Westley A. Wilson of LaFollette, Ashley Nicole Wilson of
Charleston of SC; sister, Veatta Seagle; several nieces and nephews and a host
of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services were Feb. 27 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home
with Rev. Thomas Adkins officiating. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge
of the arrangements.
