Mary Frances Lieber, 72, of Oak Ridge,
Margaret Isabell Jones, 81, of Clinton,
Esther Shuey, 89, of Oak Ridge,

Mary Frances Lieber, 72, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at
Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Born Jan. 3, 1932, in Bemis, she was the
daughter of Frank and Mary Margaret Osborn McDugal. Mrs. Lieber owned and operated
Fran's Yarn Barn for many years. She was an Episcopalian and a member of the
Order of the Eastern Star No. 390, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No.
1684 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. According to her family, she enjoyed
community activities and worked on several benefit fund-raisers. In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Freddy Stewart, in 2003.
Mrs. Lieber is survived by her husband of 19 years, Lyle Frank Lieber; two
daughters, Jacquelyn Skidmore and husband, Bill, of Madisonville and Phyllis Wilson
of Erin; three stepdaughters, Linn Silverman of Homestead, Fla., Dana Gambill
of Lexington, Ky., and Jill Hulker of Redmond, Wash.; and by her sister,
Helen Finnegan of San Marcos, Calif. She is survived by her grandson, Kevin
McClure; five stepgrandchildren, Kelly Wilshere, Marni Mutrus, Brian Silverman, Amy
Silverman and Max Hulker; two great-grandchildren, Danielle McClure and Taylor
McClure; and by her stepgreat-grandchild, Madison Beatte. The body was
cremated. A memorial service may be held at a later date. Weatherford Mortuary is in
charge of arrangements.
Margaret Isabell Jones, 81, of Clinton, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, at
Briarcliff Health Care Center. Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs is in charge
of arrangements, which were incomplete at press time.
Esther Shuey, 89, of Oak Ridge, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2004, at her home.
Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which were incomplete
at press time.
