HOPPER, SYBOL DALPHINE - age 59, of Clinton TN won the victory over death on
Friday January 16, 2004 at her home. She was born on November 11, 1944 in
Anderson County, she was preceded in death by: father, Rev. Fred Bean; and niece,
Mary McCulley. Survivors: husband of 39 years Ronald Hopper of Clinton;
mother, Marie Huckaby Bean; sons, Ronald and Nichole Hopper of Clinton, Terry and
Geri Hopper of Oak Ridge, Jimmy and Donna Hopper of Lake City; brothers; Rueben
and Peggy Bean of Clinton, Jimmy and Mildred Bean of Oliver Springs, Charles
Bean of Clinton, Ray and Bonnie Bean of Frost Bottom, Rev. Freddie and Melissa
Bean of Clinton; sisters; Helen and Doc McGill of Clinton, Sandra and Ron Jobe
of Lake City, Joyce and Kenny Hutchison of Andersonville, Beatrice and Lester
Miller of Lake City, Mary Rose and Pat Ford of Clinton, Anna Jo and Rev.
Eddie Bridges of Lake City; sister-in-law, Brenda and Tom Brown of Medora, Ind.;
grandchildren, Patience Collins, Summer Hopper, Destiny Hopper Christian
Hopper, Hannah Hopper, Madison Hopper; and several nieces nephews and a host of
other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 18,
2004 from 6 to 8:00 pm at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. The funeral
service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at the Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church in
Clinton with the Rev. Joe Cagley and Mary Smith officiating the interment
will follow in the Jarnigan Chapel Church Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral in
Clinton in charge of all arrangements.

VOWELL, JEANETTE "JANIE" - age 83 of Lake City, TN., passed away Friday,
January 16, 2004 at the Lake City Health Care Center in Lake City, TN. Visitation
6:00-8:30 p.m. Sunday, January 18, 2004 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral
service 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment 11:00
a.m. Monday, January 19, 2004 at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Lake City. Hatmaker
Funeral Home in Lake City in charge of arrangements.

WILLIS, JAMES H. "RED" - age 73, passed peacefully at 8:46 a.m., January 16,
2004 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after a short battle with colon
cancer. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a Veteran of U. S. Army Air Core
having served in Japan. Preceded in death by: father, Robert H. Willis and
mother, Clara Belle Willis; brother, J. C. Willis; and granddaughter, Brandy Lynn
Carter. Survivors: wife. Joyce Willis of Clinton; daughters, Sonya & husband,
Shawn Franklin, of Oak Ridge; Lynn & husband, Ronnie Carter, of Clinton; son,
Eddie & wife, Bobbie Willis, of Clinton; grandchildren, Lee Carter, Cody
Franklin and Chloe Willis; sisters, Belle Caulder of Oakland, Ms, Margie & husband,
Junior Logan, of South Haven, Ms, Alice Willis of Memphis, Tn., Dianne &
husband, Ralph Crafton, of South Haven, Ms.; brothers, Bob & wife, Ellen Willis,
of Culpepper, Va.; Richard & wife, Irene Willis, of Grantsville, Lee Lissis of
Memphis; special aunt, Kathryn Hauthorn of Vicksburg, Ms.; several nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, January 19, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. in the
chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Tony McAfee
officiating. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, January
19th. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20th at Anderson Memorial
Garden with full military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
