Subject: [TNCAMPBE-L] Lewis Adkins Mentioned in the Shadows Over Us Book II

Hello Lists,
Could someone please tell me who the Lewis Adkins mentioned in the
Shadows Over Us (Book II) is? Or Almon T for that matter? Lewis Adkins is first
mentioned making an affadavit for Duncan Hatmaker, son of William "Billy" and
Lorraine McGhee Hatmaker. Lewis states that he was a comrade in arms with
Duncan. Lewis is listed again on page 203 appearing before William Allen,
Campbell County Clerk of Court. Lewis states that he is acquainted with Jacob
Hatmaker, whom he served with as well. Lewis appears again on pages 361 and 378
making statements on behalf of William Hatmaker.
Almon T. appears on page 377 and 378 making statements on behalf of
William Hatmaker. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, I greatly enjoyed the Shadows Over Us Series, but was
disappointed that my 2 Hatmaker lines weren't in the books. There is always next
time.
