Cynthia "Cindy" Elaine Russell, 29, of Oliver Springs,
Curtis E. McCollough, 83, of Jackson, Miss.

Cynthia "Cindy" Elaine Russell, 29, of Oliver Springs, died Wednesday, Oct.
8, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Her family said she was a loving mother and wife, and will be sadly missed by
her family and friends. According to her family she was adventurous and loved
riding her ATV and farming.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sammie Lester.
Mrs. Russell is survived by her husband, Frankie Russell; two sons, Samuel
Russell and Joseph Russell, both of Oliver Springs; her mother, Debra Lester of
Oliver Springs; her brother, Mark Lester and wife, Angela, of Oliver Springs;
her sister, Elizabeth Harvey and husband, James, of Oliver Springs; her
grandmother, Rosemary Padilla of Michigan; four nieces, Amber, Savannah, McKenzie
and Kaylan; and by two nephews, Bailey and Conner.
The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, in the chapel of
Oliver Springs Mortuary with the Rev. Gary Massengill and the Rev. Arnold Whitehead
officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
The family requests that any memorials be in the form of donations to Marlow
Volunteer Fire Department, 1019 Oliver Springs Highway, Clinton, TN 37716.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.

Curtis E. McCollough, 83, of Jackson, Miss., died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at
his home.
Mr. McCollough was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson. He retired in
1982 with over 36 years of service with South Central Bell as a plant manager.
He was also a member of Southside Assembly of God and was on the board and
head of the Men's Fellowship Department for many years. Mr. McCollough had
several hobbies including fishing, hunting and quartet singing, but according to his
family none were more important than his love of his country, family and
friends. He was a former United States Army veteran having served during World War
II.
Mr. McCollough is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanette McCollough; his
son, Skip McCollough and wife, Julie, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; three daughters,
Linda Kelly and husband, Joe, of Jackson, Lois Buchanan and husband, Gary, of
Florence, Miss., and Irene Smith and husband, John, of Carthage, Miss.; a
brother, Norman McCollough of Clinton; a sister, Mildred Rumfelt of Jackson; and
by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson.
Burial followed at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
