Subject: [TNCAMPBE-L] Sharp's of La Follettte, TN

I'm looking for my grandfather. I have very little info on him. I know that
he lived in or around La Follette, TN. He went by the name of LUTHER
SHARP. My grandma told me that Sharp wasn't his actual name. He lived with
some Sharps and took on thier name. She couldn't remember what his actual
last name was for sure, but thought it might be LUTHER M MILLER. She's very
ill and couldn't remember much. From what she told me, I'm guessing he was
born in the 1920's (give or take a few years.) and is believed to have died,
possibly in the 1960's. His Mother's name was Margaret. No one could
remember her maiden name, but they did tell me that she married Jesse Norman
at some point after Luther's birth. Luther also had a twin -a brother, I
think. He had a son born in La Follettte in 1948 and a daughter born in
Michigan in 1951, both were born out of wedlock with an Ayers.
Obviously, this isn't alot to start tracing your roots on. I'd appeciate
ANY info anyone might have to offer. Feel free to email me direct, if you'd
like.
