Matt Phillips
Matt Phillips,71, died at the home of his daughter,Mrs.Rona Bunch,Clinton, at 1:30 p.m. Monday,June 26.
He is survived by 3 sons, Harvey Phillips,Rt.2,Clinton, Jesse Phillips,Briceville,and Eli Phillips,Oliver Springs,
and 5 daughters, Mrs.Rona Bunch,Clinton,Mrs.Amos Carroll,Briceville,Mrs.Lue Patterson,Frost Bottom,
Mrs.Ivan Steward,Knoxville,and Miss Rosella Phillips,Clinton.Funeral services were held Wednesday at the
Clinch River Baptist Church with the Rev.I.C.Phillips officiating.Burial was in the Church cemetery with
Martin Funeral Home of Clinton in charge.

Isiac Ridenour
Isiac Ridenour,72,died at his home in Lake City,Tuesday,May 9.He is survived by one daughter,
Mrs.Cleo Nelson and two sons,John and Charles Ridenour,all of Lake City,one sister,Mrs.Lizzie Wilson
of Andersonville,three grandchildren.Funeral services were to be held Thursday at 10 a.m.at the
Vasper Baptist Church with burial in the Church cemetery.Martin Funeral Home of Lake City was in charge.

Mrs.Sarah E.Lee
Mrs.Sarah E.Lee, 79, died Monday at 3 p.m. at the home of her daughter,Mrs.W.M. Foust,RFD 2,Powell Station.
Mrs.Lee is survived by one son,Laudon Lee of Knoxville,three daughters,Mrs.C.C. Foust, Mrs.W.M.Foust and
Mrs.J.R.Cross,RFD 2,Powell Station,one sister,Mrs.Lize Jane Cofman of Washington State,14 grandchildren,
and 10 great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2p.m. at the Zion Baptist Church with
the Rev.Kirkpatrick officiating.Burial was in the church cemetery with Holley Funeral Home in charge.

Millard Duncan
Millard Duncan, 52, of Briceville, died at the Veterans Hospital at Johnson City, Sunday night, May 7.
He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Effie Duncan,two sons,Claiborne and Britton, all of Bricevillle,
four sisters, Mrs.John Seivers of Frost Bottom, Mrs.George Mullins of Windrock, Mrs.Melvin Barden
of Clinton and Mrs.Sam Kosier of Knoxville.Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m
at the Frost Bottom Baptist Church with the Rev.Elmer Cox officiating.Burial was in the Church
cemetery with Miller-Cox in charge.
