FOSTER, ALPHA - age 89, of Heiskell, Tenn.,
PHILLIPS, EULA P. - age 88, of Lake City,

FOSTER, ALPHA - age 89, of Heiskell, Tenn., passed away Friday, September 26,
2003, at Methodist Medical Center. Preceded in death by her husband, William
Bill Foster and her parents, R. E. and Elizabeth Davis Wallace. Mrs. Foster
worked for former Magnet Nitting Mill in Clinton, and Green Briar Nitting Mill
in Knoxville. She was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. Survivors:
daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Richard Allred of Clinton, Billie and Frank
White of Clinton, Tenn.; sons and daughters-in-law, S. Tyrone and Judy Foster of
Heiskell, Tenn., Rufus and Donna Foster of Heiskell, Tenn., Lynn and Martha
Foster of Clinton, Tenn.; grandchildren, David Foster, Bryan Foster, Ryan Foster,
Crystal and her husband, Kenny Baggett, Patrick and his wife, Amanda Allred,
Tracy and her husband, Jeff Wilson, Mary and her husband, Scott Procise, Lance
White, Jeffery White, James Bradshaw, Teresa Davis, Meredith Foster, Lydia
Foster, and Taylor Foster; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Stella Massengill of
Indiana, Hazel and her husband, Clyde Cox of Clinton, Tenn., and several
nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2003,
Holley-Gamble Chapel, Rev. Jerry Copeland and Rev. Larry Foust officiating. Interment
will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Grandsons will serve
as Pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Deep Springs Baptist Church. The
family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2003.
Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, in Clinton, Tenn., in charge of arrangements.

PHILLIPS, EULA P. - age 88, of Lake City, passed away Sunday, September 28,
2003, at the N.H.C. Health Care Center in Oak Ridge, Tenn. She was of the
Baptist faith. She was born March 5, 1915, in Anderson County, Tenn. She is
preceded in death by parents, R. L., Sr. and Anna Wright Foster. Survivors: brother,
R. L. Foster, Jr. of Oliver Springs, Tenn.; sisters, Helen Rector of
Jacksboro, Tenn., Mary Sharp of Lake City, Tenn., and Margaret Hall of Nashville,
Tenn., and several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends. The
family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2003, at
the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 29,
2003, at Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Interment
will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at East Fork Cemetery in Oak
Ridge, Tenn. Hatmaker Funeral Home, of Lake City, in charge of arrangements
