VINCENT, GEORGE W. - age 72 of Clinton, TN passed away Wednesday, August 13,
2003 at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center. He graduated from Eastern High
School in Washington, DC and served his country as a Navy Veteran in the Korean
War. He retired from Bell South after 40 years of service and was a member of
CWA. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Christine Vincent; daughter, Terri
Vincent; sister Marge Sturgeon and brother-in-law Rodney Sturgeon; nephew,
Rodney Sturgeon, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Norris First Baptist
Church on West Norris Road, where he was a member, Thursday, August 21, 2003, at
6:00 p.m. with Pastor David Seiber officiating. In lieu of flowers the family
requests memorials be made to Mended Hearts Inc., Chapter 299, Box 4965, Oak
Ridge, TN 37831. Arrangements by Cremation Options, Inc. (865) 6WE-CARE (693-
2273).
