BALDWIN, GILBERT E. - age 68, of LaFollette,
SKORSKI, M. - age 79, of Oak Ridge,

BALDWIN, GILBERT E. - age 68, of LaFollette, departed this life Saturday,
June 21, 2003, at his home. He was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church of
LaFollette. He was preceded in death by son, Ricky; mother, Vetress, and father,
Lawrence Baldwin. Survived by wife of 47 years, Veldon; daughter, Crystal
Shields of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; granddaughter, Tiffany Tague;
great-grandchildren, Raven and Brennan Tague of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; brother, Harold of
Holton, Kansas; sisters, Deanna Russell and Gloria McClain of Knoxville;
special brother-in-law, Claude Beets of Knoxville. Mr. Baldwin was superintendent of
a large construction firm in California, where he resided for 35 years. Upon
retirement, he moved to LaFollette. The family will receive friends Wednesday
from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Woodhaven Funeral Home. Funeral
services will
be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Wilcox officiating. Interment
immediately following. Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, in charge of
arrangements, 945-3461.
SKORSKI, M. - age 79, of Oak Ridge, passed away peacefully, 6/5/2003,
surrounded by his family.
He worked for 35 years at ORNL as an Engineering Draftsman. His favorite
hobby was building RC planes and flying them with his KCRC friends. A Memorial
Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with
Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Music
Ministries, 243 Vermont Avenue, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. Weatherford Mortuary, Oak
Ridge in charge of arrangements.
