CLINTON: Robert Terence Dripps, 37.
OAK RIDGE: Mr. Rex Alan Lowe, 44.

DRIPPS, ROBERT TERENCE - age 37, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, May 31,
2003, at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, in Knoxville. He served two
years in the United States National Guards. Preceded in death by father, Robert
E. Dripps, Sr.; half-sister, Beverly Lauderdale; half-brother, Billy Lewis.
Robert was born March 23, 1966, in Oak Ridge. Survivors: mother, JoAnn Dripps
of Oak Ridge; four half-brothers and one half-sister; one niece and one nephew.
Special friends, Luther Vinson and David Jefffers. A private memorial service
will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to
The Hope Center, 1901 Clinch Avenue, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37916, or St. Jude's
Hospital. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, of Clinton, in charge of all
arrangements.
LOWE, MR. REX ALAN - age 44, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, passed away May 20,
2003 in Harriman, Tennessee. Rex Lowe was born October 8, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio,
the son of Emma Oakes and Kenneth William Lowe, Sr. He was the Owner and
Operator of The Lifters Club Fitness Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He served in
The United States Marine Corps. He became rooted to the fitness needs of the Oak
Ridge community in 1992. He was determined to make The Lifters Club
comfortable for the young, the old and the amateur, as well as the highly competitive
fitness enthusiast. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. Until 7:00
p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. CST at Bilbrey Funeral Home
in Crossville. Brother Mike Garrett and Robert Rainey will be officiating. Rex
Alan Lowe is survived by his daughter, Lecherisha Dawn Hall; his mother, Emma
Lowe; brother, Kenneth Wayne Lowe; sister, Diana Lynn Lowe and his
grandmother, Lois Oakes, all of Crossville, Tennessee. The family requests that
memorials be made to the local Boys Club of Oak Ridge or Crossville or to The American
Heart Association. To everyone who knew him and loved him, our lives will be
forever changed. Rex will always remain an inspiration to all of us.
