LEWIS, MRS. EURETHA PARROTT O'HARA - age 87, formerly of LaFollette, passed
away peacefully early Saturday morning, May 31, 2003, at Piedmont Hospital in
Atlanta, Georgia, after a brief illness. Reth grew up in LaFollette, Tennessee,
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Parrott, Sr. and her brothers, William
Harrison Parrott, Jr., and William Floyd Parrott. She married John Grady O'Hara
of Jellico, and they had two children, Mary Elizabeth O'Hara Merritt and John
Grady O'Hara, Jr. Mrs. Lewis lived for a time with her son in Ft. Worth,
Texas, and in recent years with her daughter and son-in-law in Atlanta, Ga. She
was a member of the LaFollette First Baptist Church. She is survived by her
children, a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Floyd Parrott of
LaFollette, another sister-in-law, Mrs. Annalee Parrott, also of LaFollette, eight
grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30
p.m. Tuesday at Walters Funeral Home and then proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for
graveside services with her nephew, William Floyd Parrott, Jr. officiating.
Walters Funeral Home, of LaFollette, is honored to be serving the family of Mrs.
Euretha Parrott O'Hara Lewis.
