Mrs.Webb,91,Of Bluff Rd.Dies
A native of the Bluff Rd,Lake City Rt.1 area where she recently lived,Mrs.Sadie Webb,91,died at 4:30p.m
Friday at Oak Ridge Hospital.Mrs.Webb was a member of Longfield Baptist Church.Her husband,John N.Webb,
died over 20 years ago.Mrs.Webb enjoyed gardening and quilting when she was able.she is survived by three
daughters,Mrs.Bob(Gladys)Wilbar of Tecumseh,Mich.,Mrs.I.A.(Alma)Newman and Mrs.Fern Davis,both of Lake City,
son,Rondel Webb of Lake City,14 grandchildren,and several great-grandchildren.Funeral services were held Monday
at Cox Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev.Elbert Baird officiating.Burial was in Disney Cemetery.

Ex-Electrician,Disney,Dies At Hospital
A retired electrician in the construction business,Roscoe M.Disney,67, of Oak Grove Community,
Lake City Rt.2,died last Thursday night at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville.Disney was a native of the Oak Grove
area.He was a member and deacon of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.Disney also was a member of Coal Creek
Masonic Lodge No.492,Scottish Rite,and the Kerbela Temple of Knoxville,and the International Brotherhood
of Electrical Workers.He was preceded in death by his wife,Madge T.Disney,mother,Rose Marie Disney,and
a sister,Lois Johnson.He is survived bu two sons,Ronnie Joe and Steven M.Disney,both of Lake City, five grandchildren,
brother,Thurman Disney of Lake City,and a sister,Atrice Pridemore of Lake City.Funeral services were held Sunday
at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Revs.Ernest Ward,Bill Lamb and Lloyd Slover officiating.Burial followed a
Masonic graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Official's Wife Succumbs To Illness
Mrs.Ruth Leinart,51,wife of County Commissioner Q.V.Leinart of Medford Community,died Feb.8
at Oak Ridge Hospital.She had been ill for several years and had been in the hospital for 21 days
prior to her death.The Anderson County native,who was borned and raised in Briceville,formerly
operated Ruth's Beauty Salon in the couple's home.She closed the shop five years ago.She was
a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church and Coal Creek Order of the Eastern Star Lodge No.226.
She enjoyed camping and bowling.In addition to her husband,Mrs.Leinart is survived by a son,
Quinton Leinart of Lake City,two daughters,Marilyn Leinart of Greenville and Vickie Leinart of Lake City,
mother,Mrs.Beulah Harmon of Lake City,two sisters,Mrs.Faye Burris and Mrs.Anna Mae Jones,both of Lake City.
Funeral services were held Friday night at Clear Branch Baptist Church with the Rev.T.D.Hooker and Rev.Gene Guyton
officiating.An Eastern Star service also was held.Graveside service were held Saturday at Campbell Memorial
Gardens in Lafollette.

Miss.Reed Of Jacksboro Dies
A Lake City native Miss.Brenda Reed,35,of Jacksboro,died Friday at Lake City Hospital of
congestive heart failure.Miss Reed,who was disabled due to birth defects,became seriously
ill in recent weeks.She left Lake City to live in Jacksboro over five years ago.She is survived
by her father,Delmer C.Reed,of Jacksboro,brother,Gary D.Reed of Jacksboro,and three sisters,
Mrs.Jim(Geraldine)Snow of Briceville,Mrs.Ray(Wilma)Thompson of Caryville,and Mrs.Stanley(Linda)Lindsay
of Turin,Ga.Funeral services were held Monday at the Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev.William Hicks,Bill Slover,
Paul Hunley officiating.Burial was in church cemetery.
