A deed of conveyance from Susanah Richardson, Daniel C. Richardson, Hiram
Richardson, Frankling [sic] Richardson, Wm. A. Pierce his wife, Catharine
Pierce, Elihew Turner his wife, Disa M. Turner, Obediance McKeehan, Hester A.
Richardson, Jonathan Taylor and his wife, Elizabeth Taylor to T. M. Smith for
59 & 1/9 acres of land in Campbell County was this day presented for
acknowledgment and the execution thereof was acknowledged by the bargainors
with whom I am personally acquainted and the said Catharine Pierce, Disa M.
Turner, Obedience McKeehan & Elizabeth Taylor having also personally appeared
before me privately and apart from their husbands, the said Catharine Pierce,
Disa M. Turner, Obedience McKeehan & Elizabeth Taylor acknowledged the
execution of said deed to have been done by them freely voluntarily and
understandingly without compulsion or restraint from their said husbands.
Admitted to record and certified for registration this 30th day of Aug 1856.
