A deed of conveyance from Daniel Petree & wife Polly, Peter Childress and
wife, Elizabeth, Robert Butler and wife, Nancy, W. D. Alder and wife, Sarah,
Peter Childress, William Childress and Jane to Alfred Dossett for their
undivided interest in four tracts of land in Campbell County one tract,
twenty-five acres one seven acres and two tracts fifty acres each was this
day presented for acknowledgment and the execution thereof was acknowledged
by the bargainors with whom I am personally acquainted. And the said Polly
Petree feme covert having also personally appeared before me privately and
apart from her husband, Daniel Petree acknowledged that she executed said
deed freely voluntarily, understandingly without compulsion or restraint from
her husband. And the said Elizabeth Childress feme covert having also
personally appeared before me privately and apart from her husband, Peter
Childress acknowledged that she executed said deed freely voluntarily,
understandingly without compulsion or restraint from her husband. And the
said Nancy Butler feme covert having also personally appeared before me
privately and apart from her husband Robert Butler acknowledged that she
executed said deed freely voluntarily, understandingly without compulsion or
restraint from her husband. And the said Sarah feme covert having also
personally appeared before me privately and apart from her husband W. D.
Alder acknowledged that she executed said deed freely voluntarily,
understandingly without compulsion or restraint from her husband. Admitted to
record and certified for registration this 31st day of January, 1853.
