Services Held Tuesday For Miss Leinart

Funeral services for Miss.Hettie J. Leinart, 67, who died Sunday at the home of her sister Mrs.A.G.Ivey of Knoxville,
were held Tuesday at 11 a.m.at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev.Luther Wilson and the Rev.Delbert Payne
officiating.Burial was in church cemetery.Survivors other than Mrs.Ivey,include another sister,Mrs.Essie Cox,Knoxville,
sister-in-law,Mrs.Ella Leinart,Anderson county,three nieces and three nephew.

Lonas Carroll Dies Sunday

Funeral services for Lonas Carroll,49,of Devonia Rt.1.were held Tuesday at 2p.m.at Shiloh Baptist Church
with the Rev.Howard Daugherty and the Rev.R.T. Rose officiating.Mr.Carroll died Sunday at 4:29 a.m.at the
Oak Ridge Hospital.He was owner of Carroll's Grocery. Survivors include his wife,Mrs.Bessie Carroll,three sisters,
Mrs.Minnie Kennedy,Mrs.Josie Daugherty,both of Oliver Springs,and Mrs.Myrtle Bunch,Devonia and one brother,
Luther Carroll of Devonia.

80-Year-Old Heiskell Man Dies Tuesday

William H.Norton,an 80-year-old retired farmer of Heiskell Rt.1 died Tuesday morning at his home.
Funeral services were to be held Thursday at 2p.m. at Milan Baptist Church with the Rev.George Williams officiating.
Burial was to be in church cemetery.Survivors include his wife,Mrs.Vera Norton,two daughters, Mrs.Reva Rutherford,Andersonville
Mrs.Mary Drake,Fountain City,one son,Ernest Norton,Indiana, one step-son,Willie Sharp,Powell, two brothers,Elbert Norton of
Corryton,Brown Norton of Fountain City,one sister,Mrs.Della Jones,Knoxville, 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Daugherty Infant Dies Wednesday

Joseph Dewayne Daugherty,infant son of Mr.and Mrs.Byrd Daugherty of Devonia Rt.1 died Wednesday at 7:30a.m.
at the home of his parents.Funeral services will be held Friday at 2p.m. at the Free Communion Baptist Church
with the Rev.Dana Ward officiating.Burial will be in Bunch cemetery.Survivors.other than the parents, include
two sisters,Anita Faye and Tena Lorene Daugherty. two brothers,Kenneth Byrd and Roger Lynn Daughtery,
grandparents,Mr.and Mrs.Guy Phillips and Alfred Daughtery,all of Devonia RT.1.
