79-Year-Old Retired Coal Miner Dies
Charlie Bullock Sr.,79,of Lake City Rt.2 Fraterville,died Wednesday at 8 p.m.at Oak Ridge Hospital
after a long illness.Mr.Bullock was a retired coal miner.He was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2p.m.at Fraterville Baptist Church.Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
survivors include his wife,Mrs.Martha Bullock,one son,Charlie Bullock Jr,one brother,Edward Bullock,two sisters,
Mrs.Minnie Snodderly and Mrs.Rosie Hendrix,all of Lake City.

Mrs.Bunch Dies Tuesday In Knoxville

Mrs.Bertha Ada Bunch,69, of Clinton Rt.4,died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at St.Mary's Hospital.She was the wife
of Willie Bunch,and a member of the South Clinton Baptist Church,where funeral services will be held Friday
at 3p.m. with the Rev.Paul Harding,the Rev.Ernest Goins and the Rev.Hoye Bunch officiating.Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
In addition to her husband,she is survived by two daughters,Mrs.James Dishman,Clinton Rt.4 and Mrs.Horace W.Holmes,Milwaukee,Wis.
seven sons,Algie L.Bunch,New York,William G.and Lloyd E.Bunch,Powell Rt.2.Phillip A.,Clilton C,Lee and Delno Bunch all of Clinton Rt.4
two sisters,Mrs.Fred Fritz of sanders,Ariz.and Mrs.Frank Goans of Clinton Rt.4.

Pink Jarmon Dies Sunday In Hospital

Pink A.Jarmon Sr.,78,a retired coal miner of Clinton Rt.4,died Sunday at 8:00 p.m. at Oak Ridge Hospital.
He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church with the Rev.Edgar West and the Rev.Odia Brewer officiating.
Survivors include his wife Mrs.Daisy Sharp Jarmon,daughter-in-law,Mrs.Pink A.Jarmon Jr.,Briceville,three step-children,
Mrs.Bertha Fraker,Clinton,Homer Sharp,Pennsylvania,Ross Sharp,Andersonville, two foster sons,J.T.Sharp and Bobby Jarmon,Clinton,
10 grandchildren,12 step-grandchildren,28 step-great-grandchildren.

Mrs.Hooks Dies Sunday at 82

Mrs.Fannie Hooks,82,wife of the late Luther Hooks of Dutch Valley,died Sunday night at the home of her son,Charles Hooks of Clinton,Rt.5.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2p.m. at Poplar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev.Homer Hooks and the Rev.Bill Wilson officiating.
Burial was in Hooks Cemetery in the Marlow community.survivors other than her son include seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
